For example: 12 weeks x 40 hours = 480 hours; 480 x 75% = 360 guaranteed hours.

Do I cover travel and visa costs for my H-2B employees?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you must reimburse visa and border crossing fees in the employee’s first work week. You must also cover return transportation home at the end of the season or if you end employment early without cause.

Do I have housing and daily transport obligations for my H-2B visa employees?

Housing is not required, but any housing provided must meet all safety standards. Daily transport is required if the job site is not reasonably accessible.
